ABOUT HEIDI

I am a painter, illustrator, and muralist working primarily in ink, watercolor, and acrylic media. My work offers a unique perspective on the beauty of the world surrounding us.
I find inspiration in various styles, including abstraction, impressionism, and modern art. Traveling throughout the US, I have an affinity for exploring nature through hiking and other outdoor activities. I draw on floral patterns, botanical elements, and other fascinating finds in our natural world to seed my creative process. I transform that which we can easily observe into an imaginative and original form all its own.
Each work I create brings me to a new place, allowing and encouraging me to explore new ideas and mediums. Creating and bringing my art to fruition gives me a sense of calm and joy. I hope the viewer will have a similar experience from their perspective.
